ACUPUNCTURE & INTEGRATIVE
MEDICINE FOCUSES ON WOMEN'S
WELLNESS AND INFERTILITY

IF YOU WANT A HEALTHY BABY, RELIEF FROM PAIN, NORMAL MENSTRUAL CYCLES, REDUCED STRESS OR OVERALL IMPROVED HEALTH, ACUPUNCTURE & INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE WANTS YOU TO REACH YOUR GOAL AS MUCH AS YOU DO.

“We have an amazing team that strives for excellence, and truly cares about each person,” said Denise Noyer-Erez, president, clinical director and founder of Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine.

“We truly want all of our patients to feel safe and cared for while giving the highest level of care, so we do our best to go above and beyond to accomplish this,” she said. “We all have a passion for helping people and we are very result driven.”

Clientele

The business, with offices in Westlake Village and Encino, serves all ages, with the majority in their 30s and 50s.

“Most of our patients come in for help with trying to have a baby,” explained Noyer-Erez. Specialists in her office perform services including acupuncture and electro acupuncture; Laser Acupuncture, Cupping, moxibustion and therapeutic massage. They also provide clients with Chinese herbs.

“I would like to see an increase in teenage girls that have difficulty with their menstrual cycle try acupuncture.” Noyer-Erez said. “So many girls have irregular cycles, heavy bleeding combined with acne, cramping, headaches and mood swings, and acupuncture works so well resolving these issues. It is another effective option to the birth control pill.”

Services

At Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine, “we see a variety of conditions,” Noyer-Erez said. “We focus on women's wellness and fertility, so that is the majority of our patients.”

Clients come in seeking help with menstrual irregularities, male and female infertility, pregnancy support, menopause and overall wellness and stress reduction.

“Through the years as we have helped tons of couples have healthy babies, they tend to bring their children in for treatment as well,” Noyer-Erez said. “We are honored and love to help their little ones—that feels quite special.”

Acupuncture & Western Medicine Combined

For more than a decade, Noyer-Erez has been practicing and specializing in women's wellness and infertility.

Her practice was established in 2002 after she earned her Master’s of Science and clinical internship in Oriental Medicine at Emperor's College in Santa Monica.

“I had the privilege to go to Beijing, China and study for a few weeks,” she recalled. “When I was there, I saw acupuncture and Western medicine integrated together, and that is what inspired me to create Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine.”

With that, Noyer-Erez received further training in acupuncture at the International Acupuncture Academy in Beijing, China.

She later completed extensive postgraduate training in reproductive wellness including TCM Gynecology, fertility, support for IVF/IUI, pregnancy support, menopause and pelvic pain.

“I believe that people will have superior health outcomes and overall experiences when both medicines are used together,” said Noyer-Erez, who is a Fellow of the American Board of Reproductive Oriental Medicine.

“Our ultimate goal is to help as many people as possible improve their quality of life by providing exceptional treatment through acupuncture, education and integrating western medicine.”

Passion for Helping People

Born in Granada Hills, California, Noyer-Erez has lived in Ventura County for almost two decades.

“The beauty and the community brought me to Ventura – I love it here,” she said.

Her passion for helping people sparked during her childhood.

“When I was in third grade, I was giving my teacher neck massages,” she recalled. “In high school, I worked for a stressful, deadline-oriented legal practice, and whenever I would finish a project if I had spare time, I would do acupressure and massage on the secretaries to help relieve their stress, headaches, and sinus pressure.”

After graduating from high school, Noyer-Erez studied exercise physiology and nutrition at California State University Northridge.

“When I was finished, I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could make a difference,” she said. “I am on top of the world when we are able to contribute to the joy and health of our patients.”

The Best Care

When people walk through the doors of Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine, they immediately know that the specialists truly care about each client individually.

“We all wake up and feel happy to come to the office,” Noyer-Erez said. “We are passionate about helping people.”

It’s important for clients to know that someone truly cares and will give them the best treatment and support needed, she further emphasized.

“We do our best to go above and beyond to not only give each person the best treatment for their situation, also to make sure they have a wonderful calming experience,” she said. “The type of service we provide is helpful at many levels physically, and emotionally.”
